Cost

Cost & Fees of Therapy.

The cost of therapy is a common area we receive questions about. Families are often concerned about covering the fees that come with therapy services. The first thing to know is that 75% of our clients are completely covered by their insurance with the only out of pocket expense being their co-pay (typically $15-30). The other 25% have elected to pay privately without private insurance.
Our fees are based on our level of quality. Each of our specialists is highly qualified in their field and actively pursuing continuing education, certifications, and experience to bring a high level of service to each client at every session. Here at Spark we want to offer the highest level of care we can while still being affordable and accessible.
Not all therapy providers are transparent about the costs of therapy but we believe that having this information right out in the open encourages you to make informed decisions about your child or your loved one’s care and to make the right decision for your family. Below are our private pay costs for families without insurance. We also offer a sliding scale for private pay families who experience severe financial hardships.
Please contact us with any questions or concerns, to learn more about our sliding scale, or discuss payment options, we are always here to help.

Additional Services, Fees & Programs.

Integrated Listening System (in clinic & home):

The iLs or Integrated Listening System is frequently a private pay service and covers the cost of the equipment, the certified provider’s time, and, for those who request this service at home, in school, or in the community, the cost of transportation and coordination. This also covers support and monitoring of your child’s behavioral changes with adjustments made based on your child’s unique needs. The sensory service is sometimes covered by some insurances, though equipment rentals are not. Please contact your insurance with your specific plan details to see if this is a covered benefit. This service is provided by a credentialed iLs provider and speech-language assistant.

For those interested in a home contract with professional monitoring, iLs offers the home system for rent with an approved supervisory contract. A minimum of one weekly visit either in the clinic or at home/school is required to maintain appropriate settings and ensure the plan’s follow-through. Please contact us for a free meet & greet to get signed up for a home/school service.

The difference btween the home program and in-clinic active program is who is providing the service. In home, you are trained to use the equipment and perform the activities with your child. In clinic a licensed therapist or therapy assistant provide the service and perform an activity program with your child based on their needs.

In clinic cost: $100 per hour session (may be coordinated with OT or ST services & done at the same time)

$60 per half-hour session (may be coordinated with OT or ST services & done at the same time)
